We are Girl Scout Junior Troop 2209 from DeQuincy Louisiana. There are about 8 girls (grades 4-5) in our troop, most have been in scouts for 4 or more years. Our troop has the best leaders and parents in the area. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.
The troop is working hard to earn enough money to visit Sea World-San Antonio in May of 2009 to participate in the Sea Lion Interaction Program.

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law
The Girl Scout Law
I will do my best to be:
Honest and fair
Friendly and helpful,
Considerate and caring,
Courageous and strong, and
Responsible for what
I say and do,
And respect myself and others,
Respect authority,
Use resources wisely, make the world
A better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout
